Moderated by Res. Asst. Betül Çimenli, the third session of Bartın ELT Language Talks titled "Can a piece of food win/break a heart? Integrating Intercultural Communicative Competence (ICC) into EFL Classes" was given by Dr. Deniz Şallı-Çopur from METU. Our head of department Asst. Prof. Dr. Burcu Şentürk gave an introductory speech at the beginning of the event and after Dr. Şallı-Çopur's talk, the Q&A session took place with students and academicians from both Bartın University and Middle East Technical University, as well as other universities. As a department, we are happy to organize such events and strengthen our ties with Middle East Technical University in scope of YÖK Anadolu Project which promotes cooperation between the two universities
