BARU Achieved Success in Ranking at the Field of Education in the University-Based Competence Analysis

In the preference guide prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology based on TÜBİTAK-supported student projects (TÜBİTAK 2209-A) and Higher Education Council (YÖK) data for the 2022-2023 period, achievements of Faculty of Education has attrected attention. According to the data in the preference guide:

  • Arts and Crafts Teaching ranked 2nd in Turkey
  • Turkish Language Teaching ranked 2nd in Turkey
  • Social Sciences Teaching ranked 3rd in Turkey
  • Primary Education Mathematics Teaching ranked 5th in Turkey
  • Science Teaching ranked 9th in Turkey
  • English Language Teaching ranked 9th in Turkey
  • Classroom Teaching ranked 12th in Turkey
  • Guidance and Psychological Counseling ranked 13th in Turkey

These results illustrate the success of the Faculty of Education, which places the goal of creating a quality, sustainable development, and student-focused educational environment at the core of all its work. Sharing her thoughts on the matter, our Dean, Prof. Dr. Fatma ÜNAL, expressed her satisfaction in seeing the results of quality work conducted within the framework of a culture of quality and stated that they aim to increase the number and quality of studies in the coming periods to be at the top of the list. Dean ÜNAL also extended her gratitude to our teaching staff and students, emphasizing her belief that the stakeholders under the roof of the Faculty of Education will achieve many more successes through collaboration
