Committees of the Faculty
The activities of the "Bartın University Faculty of Education Committees" are carried out in accordance with the mission, vision, quality policy documents, core values of Bartın University and the Faculty of Education, and in line with YÖK, YÖKAK, program accreditation, and relevant regulations.
1. ACADEMIC APPOINTMENT, PROMOTION, OR REAPPOINTMENT EVALUATION COMMITTEE
This committee conducts preliminary evaluations for applications to the position of assistant professor and assesses the reappointment of faculty members whose terms have expired, in line with the principles and criteria specified in the Bartın University Guidelines for Promotion and Appointment to Faculty Positions.
2. UNIT ACADEMIC INCENTIVE APPLICATION AND REVIEW COMMITTEE
This committee evaluates the activities of faculty members applying for the academic incentive allowance according to the principles outlined in the Academic Incentive Allowance Regulation.
3. COURSE AND EXAM SCHEDULE PREPARATION COMMITTEE
This committee is responsible for preparing the course and exam schedules for all departments in the Faculty of Education for the Fall/Spring semesters.
4. QUALITY AND ACCREDITATION COMMITTEE
This committee is tasked with establishing the unit’s quality assurance system, ensuring program accreditation, and achieving sustainable improvement in line with the strategic plan of the university and faculty, as well as the Higher Education Quality Assurance and Higher Education Quality Board Regulation and Bartın University's Quality Assurance Guidelines.
5. EVENT ORGANIZATION COMMITTEE
This committee plans and coordinates events to be conducted within our faculty.
6. WEBSITES AND SOCIAL MEDIA COMMITTEE
This committee designs and updates the faculty’s and sub-units’ websites and social media accounts in a way that meets the needs of our internal and external stakeholders and enhances the national and international visibility of our faculty and departments.
7. PROJECT AND R&D WORKING GROUP
This working group operates to raise awareness about projects and R&D within the unit, provide effective information, and ensure coordination among stakeholders.
8. COURSE EXEMPTION AND TRANSFER COMMITTEE (EXEMPTION, DOUBLE MAJOR & MINOR)
This committee operates at the department/program level concerning horizontal transfer, double major, minor, and course exemptions based on the criteria set by YÖK and Bartın University.
9. GRADUATION AND ALUMNI TRACKING COMMITTEE
This committee manages graduation and alumni tracking processes in collaboration with the University's Career Planning and Research Application Center and the Student Affairs Office.
10. RISK IDENTIFICATION AND EVALUATION COMMITTEE
This committee conducts risk assessments of classrooms, laboratories, faculty offices, and administrative staff offices at the Faculty of Education and records any encountered/potential risky situations to take preventive measures.
11. COMMUNITY SERVICE APPLICATIONS (CSA) COMMITTEE
Authorized to manage CSA-related processes and administrative tasks on behalf of the Rectorate's Social Responsibility Project Coordination and the Dean's Office. It ensures proper implementation of CSA practices and manages the CSA website according to the Bartın University CSA Guidelines. It also carries out necessary correspondence and assignments with the Dean's approval.
12. FACULTY-SCHOOL COOPERATION AND TEACHING PRACTICE COMMITTEE
This committee ensures the planned and orderly execution and continuous improvement of Faculty-School Cooperation, Teaching Practices, and RPD Practices in schools.
13. STUDENT MOBILITY COMMITTEE
In line with Bartın University's internationalization strategy, this committee works in collaboration with the Erasmus, Mevlana, and Farabi Offices of Bartın University to optimize the implementation processes.
14. ORIENTATION AND CAREER COMMITTEE
This committee, in collaboration with the Communication Coordination, Career Planning and Research Application Center, Disabled Student Unit Coordination, International Students, and Overseas Education Coordination, ensures that the orientation activities and career support services for Faculty of Education students are conducted effectively in line with Bartın University's mission and vision.
15. MONITORING AND EVALUATION COMMITTEE
This committee carries out unit strategic planning, monitoring, and evaluation activities.
16. INCLUSIVINESS COMMITTEE
This unit plans and ensures the execution of the Faculty of Education's activities related to disability, gender, and disadvantaged groups.
