A Seminar was Held on the Topics of "Ethics Committee Application Process" and "Guide to Productive Artificial Intelligence"

In collaboration with the Faculty of Education, the Social and Human Sciences Ethics Committee, and the Learning and Teaching Development Coordination Office, a seminar was held on Thursday, June 6. The seminar featured presentations on the topics of "Bartın University (BARÜ) specialization area," "ethics committee application process," and "guide to productive artificial intelligence in scientific research and publication activities in higher education." Our Dean, Prof. Dr. Fatma ÜNAL, our Vice Dean, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Asiye PARLAK RAKAP, our faculty members, and our students attended the seminar.

The First Session Introduced the Ethics Committee Application Process Step by Step

In the first session of the seminar, Prof. Dr. Ayla ÇETİN DİNDAR, Chair of the Social and Human Sciences Ethics Committee, and Beyza ÇETMEN, the secretary, introduced the ethics committee application module and explained the steps to be followed in the application process with examples. At the end of the session, the speakers answered questions from the participants.

The Second Session Presented the Role of Productive Artificial Intelligence in Scientific Research and Publication Activities in Higher Education

In the second session of the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa FİDAN gave a presentation on the usage areas of productive artificial intelligence, the most popular AI applications in 2023, and detailed data on the most visited AI applications between September 2022 and August 2023. In the final part of the session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa FİDAN presented a song created through AI applications for Bartın University to the participants.
