A meet and greet event with high school students

Our department have organized series of events regarding the introducing the ELT program, and informing the high school students about English Language Teaching program which will start admitting students in 2019/2020 academic year.

In the scope of the events organized in cooperation with the department of Translation Studies, Head of the Department of Foreign Language Education Asst. Prof. Dr. Burcu Şentürk visited Bartın Anatolian High School and informed the students about the department and program. At the same time, Asst. Prof. Dr. Erdi Şimşek and Asst. Prof. Dr. Kaine Gülözer greeted Bartın Davut Fırıncıoğlu Anatolian High School students who visited Bartın University Kutlubey Campus and informed them about the opportunities that comes with being an ELT student at Bartın University before answering their questions. The presentation included the introduction video of our university, the aims of our department, and the opportunities offered to our students. The events attracted high level of participation and attention.
